Getting Started
XCELLEGEN is installed by downloading it from the CFOsoft website. We conduct two web meetings to get you started and help you decide whether you need our consulting services that include training, project planning, model building, reporting, and much more.
You may need us to create a turnkey solution or accomplish one task. For example, XCELLEGEN comes with one standard rollup (grouping of GL accounts). You may need a report that requires another rollup. We can provide training to show you how to build the new rollup in the underlying database, or you may ask us to build it for you. A task like this takes anywhere from two hours to a day to complete depending on complexity.
Many customers start with financial reporting and add solutions over time. The accounting intelligent database created for financial reporting can be used for other solutions like budgeting, consolidations, and financial modeling. However, you can start with any application to solve a specific problem, like consolidations.
Outsourcing
CFOsoft provides affordable outsourcing services. We create a system that meets your needs and provide the analysis and reports critical to run your business effectively. You do not purchase software, just engage us for a service fee based on normal rates. At some future time you may elect to bring the application in-house and use the setup created by CFOsoft. .
Modular Approach
Once your first application is up and going, you can implement another module like budgeting or forecasting. Custom training programs are developed for each user. Typically this will require two or three one hour web meetings.
Support and Ongoing Services
No solution is complete without someone to stand behind it. We provide email and telephone support for all of our solutions and products on a time and material basis. There is an annual product upgrade fee.
Web-based Support
You can learn the entire product before you implement it. We provide web-based training.
